If you've never seen it, you really ought to see "Cyrano de Bergerac". And, what the heck, make a night of it and watch "Roxanne", too. Yeah, the former is much, much better than the latter, but, face it, Steve Martin does do a pretty good take on Cyrano.
Oh...I thought you were referring to the 1950 release, with José Ferrer as Cyrano. That was good, as I recollect.
