It's nice when the grime is colourful.

The sun shines because I'm finally finished my overly-delayed marking (I'm duking it out with an energy-draining cold...or something) and it turns out there are lots of smart kids in my classes this term.

Apparently I need to get out in my car more.

Add some garlic, some red wine......

North of the 49th, it's Thanksgiving.  We're weird in that we actually connect what's basically a harvest festival to the actual harvest season.  Crazy Canucks.  Anyway, I'm off for a heapin' helpin' of tofurkey 'n' other stuff.  In the name of science, and in honour of Louis Pasteur, I will make sure to add a reasonable quantity of red wine as a digestive aid.

Oh, and for what am I giving thanks?  Sorry to be so obvious, but the fact that this makes tomorrow a holiday is good enough for me.

And....what?  No croissant?  Cold, sure, but.....
